About: 4Pane is a four pane detailed-list file manager for Linux. It is
designed to be fully-featured without bloat, and aims for speed rather
than visual effects. In addition to standard file manager things, it
offers multiple undo and redo of most operations (including deletions),
archive management including 'virtual browsing' inside archives, multiple
renaming/duplication of files, a terminal emulator, and user-defined
tools.
Changes: When mounting a removable device partition as root, 4Pane now
attempts to give the user write permission. You can now choose, when
moving/pasting a relative symlink, for its original target not to be
retained. i18n is now supported. There are changes to help distribution
packagers. In addition to previously-supported distributions, binaries are
now available for Zenwalk, Puppy, and Damn Small Linux.

About: SMC anti-spam email filter is a software application (plug-in)
designed to significantly reduce the amount of spam/UCE (junk-mail) you
receive. SMC uses a greylisting-like technique to stop the junk-mail and a
set of dynamic, automatic "whitelists" for unknown, but legitimate senders.
Changes: A virus check that uses Clam AntiVirus was added along with a
'clamcheck' option in the config file. A critical bug in the 'Check
Delays' functions was fixed. An 'action' option was added in the config
file for default filter actions. Fixes were made for running with Postfix.
Documentation was fixed. The code was cleaned up and optimized. Some
redundant features such as DNSRBL support were removed because all MTAs do
it. The smc-milter.policy configuration file was removed.

About: Splashy is a boot splash program that doesn't require patching the
Linux kernel. It paints graphic images directly to framebuffers using
libdirectfb.
Changes: Many bugs were fixed. Splashy now works better with encrypted
hard disks (LUKS) and getstring/getpass prompts early at boot. Issues with
the progress bar during shutdown were fixed. lsb-base-logging.sh LSB
functions are now a bit more complete. TTYs are now cleared properly
whenever Splashy is about to exit. Display managers are now detected

saving of localization data in the TMX open standard. Based on locale4j
