combine the best features of the Final Fantasy and Ultima series with an
epic plot. It is set in a detailed virtual world. With the current engine,

segfault in conjunction with some combinations of freetype and SDL_ttf was
fixed. Compatibility issues with GCC version 4.3 were fixed. Included

About: alph implements and analyzes historical and traditional ciphers and

About: AsItHappens is a real-time network statistics collector and
grapher. It collects data from devices over a network via ICMP and SNMP and
displays them on a graph, optionally storing collected data in a database
for later retrieval. Collection types include network response, bandwidth
usage, processor usage, memory usage, Cisco NBAR, and Cisco NetFlow.
AsItHappens polls data in regular intervals, which can be in the order of
milliseconds, to give immediate feedback on network performance, and it can
also graph flow information from packet capture files. AsItHappens includes
the Self Defending Network, a horizontal shoot-em-up based on collected
graph data.

Changes: This release fixes a bug that prevented NBAR and NetFlow graphs
from launching when the "ifAlias" configuration option was enabled. It also
fixes a bug that prevented session times from being dynamically updated
when used with an empty database, and another bug that resulted in the
sessions updater thread not shutting down cleanly.

contains an argument parser, a base-64 encoder/decoder, a C++ interface to
iconv, md5-stream for easy MD5 calculation, threading classes, socket

pool template (e.g. for a connection pool in a multi-threaded application),

tntnet. A set of conversion functions were added as easy-to-use wrappers

wavelets, motion compensation, and arithmetic coding, and aims to be

implementation provides a C++ library with an encoder and decoder.

Changes: Support for Ultra High Definition video formats was added.
Compression efficiency was improved. Major bugs that caused crashes and
permanent loops were fixed. Patches to enable Dirac playback in MPlayer
were released. A DirectShow filter to enable playback of Dirac files in
Windows Media Player was released. The API has changed, so all applications
using Dirac libraries need to be rebuilt.

About: fsniper is a tool that monitors a given set of directories for new
or modified files. Then, based on the file's type or name, it invokes a
script to be run on that file. Directories are monitored using inotify,
instead of simply continuously polling them for changes. Common uses
include making a single download directory for all things from a Web
browser and having semi-intelligent scripts figure out what to do with
those files. You write the scripts yourself.

Changes: A bug was fixed where the configuration option recurse=true
resulted in a segfault. A bug with --log-to-stdout and handlers that wrote
to stdout was fixed.

input data and to view and analyse output data, calculated with Ab-Initio
and Molecular Mechanics programs; the scientific community at large

redesigned as notebook dialogs, including new parameters: element number,

ready to merge detailed mass, radius, and charge information. Most dynamic
Option Menus (GTK 1) have been replaced by ComboBoxes (GTK 2). A simple bug
in Light->Modify (added in the previous release) that made it almost
unusable has been fixed. Export to X3D format is almost finished.

About: Genetic Algorithm File Fitter (gaffitter) is a command-line tool
that uses a genetic algorithm to extract subsets of an input list of files
and directories that best fit a given volume size such as a CD or DVD. This

was upgraded to the GNU GPLv3. The Brute Force search was improved and now

About: KontrolPack is a cross-platform remote shell command executor. The
project's objective is to improve system interoperability by connecting
remote computers, regardless of their operating system, and remotely
executing shell commands over the network.

Changes: The JKontrol server has been improved. A few bugs have been
fixed. Client tab handling is now available, and the remote computer name
and icons are set up according to the remote operating system connected.
The command results are displayed more like an actual console, and you can
now save results. The ShellKontrol client now sends parameters to the
server, allowing a remote connection to be more user friendly.

About: mylbhelper helps dumb load balancers do their job. It monitors a
local MySQL instance by periodically issuing a query. Should the query
fail, a custom script, which typically would firewall off the load
balancer, is executed. Likewise, when it comes back up, another script is

TCP traffic rather than one natively capable of talking MySQL. mylbhelper
can also act solely as a monitoring daemon.

About: Shoebox is a pure Python version/rewrite of Nodebox. It can read
scripts in the Nodebox language and output images in SVG, PostScript, PDF
or PNG format using the Cairo rendering engine. Comparing to graphics
coding alternatives like Nodebox and Processing, Shoebox is lighter and
more flexible thanks to not depending on an interface engine for rendering,
thus making it potentially suitable for CPU-conscious uses like server
applications. Unlike Processing and Nodebox though, Shoebox can only output
still images for the time being. It can be run stand-alone on a shell or as
part of a Python program.

Changes: This release has a GTK canvas interface (the first stab at a
proper canvas, but it works decently). Now you can access internal

About: Tntdb is a c++-class-library for database access. It implements a
database-independent layer, which loads the actual driver dynamically when
a connection is made. The classes use automatic resource management with
reference counts. Resources are freed when the classes go out of scope.
Error handling is done with exceptions (derived from std::exception). There
are STL-like iterators for result sets and rows, and also the cursor is an
STL-like iterator. It is written in standard C++ with Linux. Drivers for
PostgreSQL, sqlite3, MySQL, and Oracle are available.

Changes: The sqlite driver of tntdb had two small bugs. Setting strings in
statements did not lead to equality when compared to columns. Using
multiple cursors for one statement crashed tntdb when the cursors were

compiled into native code before serving. Tntnet is fully multithreaded and
supports HTTP keep-alive for best performance. Its dynamic pages are faster
than static pages with other Web servers, while creating Web applications
is simple.

Changes: Clearing cookies was broken since about a year ago. This is fixed
now. Quotes and double quotes in C++ comments in ecpp files was not handled
correctly. Initialization of scoped variables may expand to multiple lines
now (this was actually intended behavior before, but incorrectly
implemented). The .so number was increased, which was forgotten in the
previous release.

About: Vala is a new programming language that aims to bring modern
programming language features to GNOME developers without imposing any
additional runtime requirements, and without using a different ABI compared
to applications and libraries written in C.

Changes: This release adds support for overriding default method handlers
of signals. This means that it is now possible to implement custom GTK+
widgets by subclassing. Support for classes not deriving from GLib.Object
has been improved, and support for """verbatim strings""" has been added.
The parser for the new language Genie is now part of Vala, and support for
writing D-Bus services has been improved. Many bugs have been fixed,
bindings have been updated, and compiler performance has been improved.

About: There are many photo-gallery programs available. Zoph is different,
as it concentrates on the management of large collection of photos instead
of just showing them on the Web. It can store a lot of information about
your photos, including the regular EXIF info, photographer, location,
title, description, rating, and the people in the photo. Photos can appear
in multiple albums and categories. Additional features include search,
slideshows, lightboxes, email, access privileges, and multiple languages.

Changes: The 0.7.2 release that was released earlier this week did not
include the latest version of some files. Two other small bugs were also
fixed.
