About: Airs is a tool that can periodically check for new TV episodes
online on a few of the popular Web sites. It will present to you if and
when there are new episodes available. It supports lifetime management for
the downloaded episode information where you can track which episodes
you've already seen, which you are still retrieving, and which ones you
still have to find. With the integrated Web server you can point and click
on the episodes and watch them in your favorite player.

Changes: A Web server was added for series management and episode
playback. A scheduler was added for automatic updates. Many small
enhancements were made.

About: Barcode Writer in Pure Postscript implements the printing of many
barcode formats entirely within level 2 PostScript, so that the process of
converting the input string into the printed output is performed by the
printer itself. This avoids the need to re-implement the barcode generation
process whenever your language needs change. The project supports most
major barcode formats including EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, ISBN, Code 128
(A, B, and C), Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Postnet, Code 2 of 5, and
Codabar.

Changes: The efficiency of the OneCode encoder was improved by replacing
routines that generate tables of constants by the tables of constants
themselves.

About: CppSpec is a behavior-driven development (BDD) framework for C++.
It provides a framework for writing specifications of how your software
should behave.

Changes: JUnit logger enhancements were made. The specification now takes
the concrete subclass as a template parameter due to createContext and
destroyContext overloading. Specifications do not depend on Boost anymore.
Tests are not compiled by default. There were various bugfixes and internal
refactorings.

About: Entrance is a program for browsing MySQL databases. It includes a
"match box" search facility that is simlar to the Mac's Spotlight. Entrance
can create charts based on query results, and these charts can be zoomed
and panned. Entrance also supports an innovative feature called "data
painting" that allows users to select and paint data points interactively.

Changes: This version supports mixing text and graphics on Entrance report
tabs. It is possible to organize multiple output pages in a single report
using the "PAGENAME" keyword. Details can be found in the Entrance Help
menu items for PLOT and REPORT.

About: iText is a library that contains classes to generate documents in
the Portable Document Format (PDF), XML, HTML, and RTF. It can also parse
XML documents and convert them into any of these formats. Pages of existing
PDF files can be imported and copied to new PDF documents.

Changes: This release fixes most of the issues reported on the iText
mailing list in the past few months. This release brings an HTML related
code contribution, plenty of new RTF stuff, and some new features that were

About: Nephthys provides a Web interface to create file-sharing "buckets",
through which data can be shared. Nephthys handles the buckets in the local
filesystem of the server. Access and data transfer is made via FTP and
WebDAV. Nephthys itself does not provide the access protocol, but relies on
well known projects like Apache HTTPD (WebDAV) and ProFTPD (FTP).

Changes: A per-user address book has been included. The steps necessary to
create a bucket have been improved. The amount of free and used disk space
is now displayed for privileged users. Several bugs were fixed, resolving
some design issues and PHP notice and warning messages. There were
alsosecurity improvements for SQL handling and authentication.

About: runawk is a small wrapper for the AWK interpreter that helps one
write standalone AWK scripts. Its main feature is to provide a
module/library system for AWK which is somewhat similar to Perl's "use"
command. It also allows you to select a preferred AWK interpreter, to setup
the environment for your scripts. It also provides other helpful features.
runawk makes programming AWK easy and efficient, despite the fact that AWK
is a very simple programming language. runawk also provides many useful AWK
functions and extensions implemented in the separate files/modules.

Changes: A temporary file is not needed anymore for the -e option. #env
now works under Linux/glibc. A compilation error under FreeBSD was fixed.
Lots of new regression tests and code clean-ups were added. fgetln is not
required anymore. If an error happens while processing a #directive, a
correct line number is printed.

About: srm (secure rm) is a command-line compatible rm(1) which destroys
file contents before unlinking. The goal is to provide drop in security for
users who wish to prevent command line recovery of deleted information,
even if the machine is compromised.

Changes: Deletion of 0 byte files was fixed. Handling of files less than
4096 bytes was fixed. Handling of files greater than 2GiB on 32-bit systems
was fixed. The OpenBSD compat switch is used. Mac OS X ressource forks are
handled. Some code was added from the Mac OS X port and the Win32 port.

About: tpop3d is yet another POP3 server. It is intended to be fast,
extensible, and secure. It is especially extensible in regard to its
authentication subsystem. Supported authentication mechanisms include
auth-pam (Pluggable Authentication Modules) and auth-passwd to mediate
access between users and their Unix-style mailboxes, auth-mysql which uses
vmail-sql to mediate access to virtual-domain email, auth-ldap which allows
authentication of users against an LDAP directory, auth-other which allows
you to authenticate with an external program communicating via pipes, and
auth-perl which allows you to authenticate users with custom Perl code.
There is integrated support for POP-before-SMTP relaying. tpop3d supports
traditional (BSD-format) mailspools and the maildir format of qmail.

About: The trading shim is a command line interpreter with a DBMS backend
to the socket-based 'binary format' API of the Interactive Brokers' Trader
Workstation. It uses mnemonic ASCII text commands to permit downstream
clients to easily access several worldwide securities markets and exchanges
(stocks, options, futures, bonds, and Forex) for "tick" data and history
(intraday and EoD). It also allows clients to initiate and supervise trades
of securities, manage accounts, and more.

Changes: A bug was fixed regarding an account code value used improperly
when inserted in CreateEvent order journal records. Code was added to
dynamically add AccountCode entries as needed at startup.
