About: aria2 is a utility for downloading files. The supported protocols
are HTTP(S), FTP, BitTorrent, and Metalink. It has a powerful segmented
downloading ability, downloading a file from multiple sources and multiple
protocols and utilizing your download bandwidth to the maximum. It supports
downloading a file from HTTP(S)/FTP and BitTorrent at the same time, while
the data downloaded from HTTP(S)/FTP is uploaded to the BitTorrent swarm.
Using Metalink's chunk checksums, aria2 automatically validates chunks of
data while downloading a file like BitTorrent.

Changes: This release fixes a bug that caused floating point exceptions
when the -T option is used without URIs. The HEAD method is now used to get
size information from a Web server. The MinGW32 environment is now
supported, including all unit tests. Ukrainian and Norwegian Nynorsk
translations were updated.

protection against SYN/ICMP flooding, experimental IPv6 support,
multi-interface/aliased-IP support, and extensive user definable logging
with rate limiting to prevent log flooding. It has plugin support to add

support). It is easy to configure and highly customizable. A filter script
that makes your firewall log more readable is also included.

Changes: The hfsc plugin and install script were fixed on
Ubuntu./usr/share stuff was moved to /usr/local/share (where it belongs).
The DynDNS plugin was updated to 0.23BETA. It now automatically
creates/removes the cron job. The Traffic Accounting plugin was updated to
0.2BETA. An incorrect configuration file used for the transparent proxy
plugin was fixed. An issue where the installer didn't setup a symlink in
/etc/rc* to start the firewall at boot was fixed. An uninstall script was
added. There were also miscellaneous tweaks and fixes. Updating your config
file is strongly recommended.

About: Asymptote is a powerful descriptive vector graphics language for
technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like
syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting
that LaTeX does for scientific text. Asymptote is a programming language as
opposed to just a graphics program. It can exploit the best features of
script (command-driven) and graphical user interface (GUI) methods.
High-level graphics commands are implemented in the language itself,
allowing them to be easily tailored to specific applications.

Changes: Support for generating PRC output on bigendian machines was
added. Multisampling was improved; a multisample pixel width parameter was
added. The OpenGL renderer now uses POSIX threads instead of fork. A
work-around for the nonstandardized signature of gluNurbsCallback on MacOS
platforms was implemented. Planar vertex shading was fixed. A planar
argument to surface was added. A tube module was added. A setlocale
segmentation fault was fixed. The dependency of asy-mode.el on cc-mode.el
was removed. The asymptote.sty and asycolors.sty files are now installed by
default in $TEXMFLOCAL/tex/latex.

About: ExactImage is a fast C++ image processing library. Unlike
ImageMagick, it allows operation in several color spaces and bit depths
natively, resulting in much lower memory and computational requirements.
Some optimized algorithms operate in 1/20 of the time ImageMagick requires,
and displaying large images can be as fast as 1/10 of the time the
"display" program takes.

Changes: The vector text handling now supports the whole Unicode range via
UTF-8 (formerly only the ASCII sub-set was supported). The econvert command
line interface was fixed to parse newlines in string arguments. The
Floyd-Steinberg implementation was improved to reduce color bleeding, the
zlib compression factor can now be controlled for writing PNG images, and a
buffer-overrun was fixed in the XPM decoder.

platforms. It currently supports iptables, ipfilter, ipfw, OpenBSD pf,

About: SAM is a real-time Snort alert monitor. It provides many ways to
indicate that you may be experiencing an intrusion attempt on your network,
including audio/visual warnings, email warnings, etc.

Changes: The events page didn't understand the minutes_ago param, so
clicking a link from the dashboard would force the events page to run
through the full database instead of that timeframe. Also, the Threat Index
didn't include high and medium severities in the same calculation, so you
might see the same IP twice, and not the aggregate as you should have.
These issues have been fixed.

There is not and never will be a version 2.6.4.
