About: Asymptote is a powerful descriptive vector graphics language for
technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like
syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting
that LaTeX does for scientific text. Asymptote is a programming language as
opposed to just a graphics program. It can exploit the best features of
script (command-driven) and graphical user interface (GUI) methods.
High-level graphics commands are implemented in the language itself,
allowing them to be easily tailored to specific applications.

Changes: Forking problems under Windows 2000 were fixed, and MS-DOS style
path warnings were suppressed. Problems with PRC projection sizing and the
rendering logic were fixed. The toolbar is now enabled by default within
the asyattach environment. Two-dimensional transforms no longer prevent
three-dimensional labels from being projected onto the initial viewing
plane. Out-of-memory errors in the OpenGL renderer are caught again. The
new tube module was documented, and a trefoilknot example was added.

About: DSSH was written as a direct replacement for the OpenSSH client. It
adds SSH over SSH tunneling capabilities (for example, to log in to a
network hidden by a firewall), scripting support (using Groovy), an
advanced agent (which allows storing of passwords) and "su -" interactive
logging for machines that have disabled direct root login. All of this was
done to enable automated scripting and logging to many machines based on a
few simple rules. It uses the Trilead SSH library (slightly patched).

Changes: The parameter -v is more verbose than before: It prints what
authentication method succeeded. It does not try to authenticate using su
or ena, if the agent has no password for that particular user. When using
-v, it explains what's wrong.

style-independent and is well-suited for highly complex theories (e.g. a
fully-fledged theory of harmony). Results can be output into various
formats including MIDI, Lilypond, and Csound.

Changes: This release improves sound synthesis format export. For example,
expressive timing of scores can be defined by time shift functions.
Predefined MIDI file export also supports non-note events like continuous
controllers (e.g. pitch bend, aftertouch, and CC) and a global tempo curve.
Additional examples have been added, and further extensions and bugfixes
have been made.

About: SystemRescueCd is a Linux system available from a bootable CDROM
that provides an easy way to perform administrative tasks on your computer,
such as creating and editing the partitions of the hard disk or backing up
data. It contains a lot of system utilities (such as parted, partimage, and
fstools), and basic programs (such as editors, midnight commander, and
network tools). It also includes GParted, a Partition Magic clone that
makes editing partitions easy with its graphical user interface. This CDROM
aims to be very easy to use and accessible to everybody, and it also
provides advanced personalization features.

Changes: This release fixes a major problem with the ISO filesystem that
prevented the CD-ROM from booting on some hardware. FSArchiver 0.1.2 (a
filesystem backup tool has been added). The standard kernels have been
updated to Linux 2.6.26.8. The ability to uninstall all the graphical tools
using sysresccd-cleansys during the customization process has been added.

About: UDAV is a cross-platform program for data array visualization based
on the MathGL library. It supports a wide spectrum of graphics, simple
script language, and visual data handling and editing. It has a windowed
interface for data viewing, changing, and plotting. It can execute MGL
scripts, set up and rotate graphics, export to bitmap or vector (EPS or
SVG) files, draw TeX-like formulas, and so on.

Changes: HDF files are now used for storage of data and scripts like the
project file. Mouse position and information about the current command are
now shown in the status bar. A hint and replace dialog were included.
Drawing now runs in a separate thread. An options to automatically save
files before executing (by pressing F5) was added. Highlighting of keywords
was enhanced. An Info button was added to the list of data. The current
directory now changes to the location of the loaded script. The warning
panel now rises only if the warning state changes.

About: Werc is a minimalistic RESTful content management system
implemented as a collection of shell scripts written in the rc shell and
taking advantage of other Plan 9 tools available on *nix systems as part of
"Plan 9 from User Space". It is designed to be fast, simple, convenient,
and easily extensible (you can easily integrate your own dynamic content
with the rest of the site). It handles both small and big sites well,
including seamless multi-domain handling. All data is stored as plain text
files without need of a database and there is support for blog directories
with automatic RSS feed generation (and multi-feed aggregation).

Changes: Support for Atom feeds and some fixes and minor improvements.
dirfilter was updated to hide .html, .txt, and .tpl indexes from menu
listings. It is now possible to hide 'by line' in blog posts by setting
blogAuthor to ''. A new crop_text helper function was included.

About: whohas is a command line tool that allows you to query several
package collections at once. It currently supports Arch Linux (and AUR),
Debian, openSUSE, Slackware (and linuxpackages.net), Source Mage Linux,
Ubuntu, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Fink, and MacPorts repositories. whohas
was designed to help package maintainers find ebuilds, pkgbuilds, and
similar package definitions from other distributions to learn from.
However, it can also be used by normal users who want to know which
distribution provides certain packages, and which version of a given
package is in use in each distribution or in each release of a
distribution.

Changes: Distributions to be searched can now be specified on the command
line, rather than by commenting out code. When none are specified, the
whole set is searched (unless commented out in the source code).

About: Ziproxy is a high-performance forwarding (non-caching) HTTP proxy
that gzips text and HTML files, and reduces the size of images by
converting them to lower quality JPEGs or JPEG 2000. It is intended to
increase the speed for low-speed Internet connections (mobile, dial-up,
other). It's suitable for both home and professional usage. Ziproxy is
fully configurable and also features transparent proxy mode, HTML/JS/CSS
optimization, operation in daemon mode, a detailed access log with
compression statistics, basic authentication, and more.

Changes: An Ad-Blocker system was added. Logging of usernames was added
when using authentication. Support was added for a host exception list when
using the BindOutgoing (which will solve problems with certain Web sites).
A bug which prevented image compression under certain circumstances was
fixed. A Russian translation of the documentation was added. Miscellaneous
changes and bugfixes were made.
