both single and multi-homed machines. It supports NAT and SNAT, port
forwarding, ADSL ethernet modems with both static and dynamically assigned
IPs, MAC address filtering, stealth port scan detection, DMZ support,
protection against SYN/ICMP flooding, experimental IPv6 support,
multi-interface/aliased-IP support, and extensive user definable logging
with rate limiting to prevent log flooding. It has plugin support to add
extra features (like SSH Brute Force protection and (Racoon) IPSEC
support). It is easy to configure and highly customizable. A filter script
that makes your firewall log more readable is also included.
Changes: Some security issues concerning firewall restart were fixed. An
invalid EOL causing blocked hosts to fail was fixed. Invalid sed syntax
that caused blocked hosts to fail was corrected. The MAC filter was moved
from the main script into a separate plugin. An issue where the OUTPUT
policy didn't get applied was fixed. LOG_xxx_INPUT was changed to
LOG_INPUT_xxx in the config file. Several plugins were updated.

About: Augeas is a configuration API and editing tool. It parses common
configuration files like /etc/hosts or /etc/grub.conf in their native
formats and transforms them into a tree. Configuration changes are made by

About: Diffuse is a graphical tool for comparing and merging text files.
It can work with many revision control systems as a diff viewer or merge
tool. Diffuse is able to compare an arbitrary number of files side-by-side
(n-way merge), and gives the user the ability to manually correct line
matching and directly edit the files.
Changes: New menu items were added to adjust indentation. Diffuse now
checks for changes to files on disk and will notify users on keyboard focus
change. The "-c" option has been updated to support CVS-style revision
numbers. Syntax highlighting rules for Objective-C++ have been added.
Several minor bugs were also fixed. A new installer is used for Windows
builds.

About: EiffelStudio is an IDE for the Eiffel language (ECMA-367, ISO/IEC
25436, and ACM Software System Award 2006). It includes: Eiffel compiler,

image collections using a pageable window of thumbnails. Create HDR (high
dynamic range) images by combining bright and dark images to improve detail

underlying brightness levels. Rotate an image (level a tilted image or turn
90 degrees). Remove red eyes from electronic flash photos. Sharpen, resize,
crop, reduce noise, and change color depth. Warp an image by dragging the
mouse. Edit tags/keywords and search images by date or tags.
Changes: Most camera RAW files can now be imported and edited using 16
bits per color. The GUI for brightness and HDR weight adjustments is now a
movable spline curve instead of a row of sliders. Rotated images are
automatically turned upright. A tilted image can be leveled with the mouse.
The undo/redo memory was increased to the last 50 edits. A series of files
can be renamed using a base name and sequence number. Perspective problems
can be corrected by bending the image using the mouse.

About: GNU SIP Witch is a pure SIP-based office telephone call server that
supports generic phone system features like call forwarding, hunt groups
and call distribution, call coverage and ring groups, holding, and call

over the Internet, and intercept/decrypt-free peer-to-peer audio and video

About: gumnut is a program to find the most supported proposals within
large groups of people. The text or GUI client can create, moderate, and
display proposals over a decentralized communication network (currently
Gnutella). Proposals are text files with a simple naming convention that
uses the filename to describe field attributes (such as topic and
geographical location). Popular proposals are found by searching on one or
more of these fields and then calculating the support for each proposal
based on the number of occurrences on the network.
Changes: Reply packets were fixed and now contain the appropriate
local/external IP in the packet header.

About: hamsterdb is an embedded database engine written in ANSI-C. It
includes B+Trees with variable length keys and records. It supports
in-memory databases and endian-independent files, database cursors,
multiple databases in one file, "record number" databases, and duplicate
keys. hamsterdb is very fast and highly configurable. It compiles and runs
on Unix platforms, Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Windows CE.
Changes: This release fixes a major bug during ham_erase; if too many
elements of a Database page are deleted, the page is merged with other
pages. If extended keys are used, the overflow area of a key could get
corrupted during this merge. Sources, changelog, and precompiled
win32/win64 libraries are available for download.

About: Jhead is a command line driven utility for extracting digital
camera settings from the Exif format files used by many digital cameras. It
handles the various confusing ways these can be expressed, and displays
them as F-stop, shutter speed, etc. It is also able to reduce the size of

thumbnails that digital cameras put into the Exif header. If you need to

About: WANsim allows you to simulate (more accurately, emulate) a WAN
connection. In particular, it allows a user to change the emulated WAN
speed, latency, variation, packet loss, packet duplication, and packet
corruption aspects. It is configured as a network bridge that is
established at boot time and uses the Linux Kernel NETEM functionality to
accomplish its goals. Although relatively well documented, this
functionality is not the easiest to use. WANsim wraps it into a simple to
use script.
Changes: All settings are now applied equally to all interfaces. A Bridge
Mask setting was added. A sudoers file tab issue was fixed.

About: wview is an application that controls a supported weather station
to retrieve archive records and current conditions. Archive records may
optionally be stored in a relational database (MySQL or PostgreSQL). At a
user-defined interval, wview will use the archive history and current
conditions to generate weather images (buckets and graphs) and Web pages
based on configurable HTML templates. It supports serial and USB data
loggers, as well as connectivity with a terminal server or serial server
via TCP sockets.
Changes: This release fixes a bug for Vantage Pro stations that only
occurred if there were no records in the wview-archive.sdb database (new
install), which caused the wviewd daemon to never retrieve archive records
because of a bad LastArchiveTime value ("retrying archive record...").
