About: GNU Aspell is a spell checker designed to eventually replace
Ispell. It can either be used as a library or as an independent spell
checker. Its main feature is that it does a superior job of suggesting
possible replacements for a misspelled word than just about any other
spell checker out there for the English language. Unlike Ispell, Aspell
can also easily check documents in UTF-8 without having to use a special
dictionary. Aspell will also do its best to respect the current locale
setting. Other advantages over Ispell include support for using multiple

About: gpgdir is a Perl script that uses the CPAN GnuPG module to encrypt
and decrypt directories using a GPG key specified in ~/.gpgdirrc. It
supports recursively descending through a directory in order to make sure
it encrypts or decrypts every file in a directory and all of its
subdirectories. All file mtime and atime values are preserved across
encryption and decryption operations. In addition, gpgdir is careful not
to encrypt hidden files and directories.
Changes: Preservation of file mtime and atime values was added, but may be
disabled with the --no-preserve-times option. Testing encryption and
decryption of a dummy file was added by default for both encrypt and
decrypt modes, and may be disabled with --skip-test. The --test-mode

About: The Life of a Geek is very silly console game in which you (a geek)
must keep a computer running until you graduate college. Surf around on the
Internet, battling hackers to gain money and better security for your box.
Drink lots of caffeine to keep yourself awake, since if you go to sleep,
you risk an attack on your computer. Save up money to take a month-long
college course and improve your education, but remember that paying
attention to schoolwork also leaves your computer open to attack. Find a
quick job for a month at places like fast-food restaurants and grocery
stores, but remember again that time away from your computer leaves it
open to attack. Viruses may also appear on your computer, weakening your
computer's health points regularly until cleaned.
Changes: The previous release wouldn't compile under FreeBSD or older
Linux versions due to a simple error. There are new install instructions
for DOS/DJGPP. Support has been added for DOS/DJGPP, which was used to
compile the PC binaries. Makefile, wininst.sh, and DOSINST.BAT have been
updated to copy documentation. CHANGELOG/CHANGELOG.txt has been renamed
CHANGES/CHANGES.txt and LGFILESYNTAX/LGFILESYNTAX.txt renamed
LGFILES/LGFILES.txt for DOS compatibility.

About: Tulip is a software system dedicated to the visualization of huge
graphs. It manages graphs with up to 500,000 elements (node and edges) on
a personal computer (PIII 600, 256MB RAM). Its SuperGraph technology
architecture provides the following features: 3D visualizations, 3D
modifications, plugin support, support for clusters and navigation,
automatic graph drawing, automatic clustering of graphs, automatic

metric.
Changes: This release includes the first version of Tulip for Windows. It

About: Wiclear aims to provide a simple, small, and accessible wiki. It
supports the XHTML and CSS W3C specifications. There is a simple install
program and an admin panel. All content is classified via a tree-like
structure. The wiki in itself is easily themeable (same capabilities as
dotclear), is multilingual, commentable, and supports history, diffs, and
editions. There are several types of users: admins, moderators, and simple
users. Moderators and admins can edit ACLs to reduce the number of people
allowed to modify a particular page. They can remove comments or
particular version of the content. Admins can edit/delete users, create
groups, edit them, set global rights (anonymous post, anonymous comments,
etc.), change themes, etc.
Changes: This release adds an upgrade script, and features bugfixes.
There is now a Perl script to help manage the translations as well.

gesture decoding (including tap-and-drag operations and multi finger
tapping), emulation of a middle mouse button, emulation of vertical and
horizontal scroll wheels, palm detection, and run-time configuration.
Changes: Parameters have been added to make it possible to fine tune the
tapping and palm detection behavior. A new scrolling mode called coasting
