About: Asymptote is a powerful script-based vector graphics language for
technical drawing, inspired by MetaPost but with an improved C++-like
syntax. It provides for figures the same high-quality level of typesetting
that LaTeX does for scientific text. It is a programming language as
opposed to just a graphics program, allowing it to exploit the best
features of script (command-driven) and graphical user interface (GUI)
methods. High-level graphics commands are implemented in the language
itself, allowing them to be easily tailored to specific applications.
Changes: A more efficient type-safe union was used to speed up the virtual
machine by roughly a factor of 5. New routines "ellipse" and "labelellipse"
were added for drawing ovals around frames and labels. The function
"bbox(frame)" was renamed "box(frame)". These routines now prepend to the
frame for filling with a background color; they also return the boundary
as a guide. A workaround was added for a bug in gcc version 3.3 to

About: The DocBook Doclet creates DocBook XML from Java source

working with directory information. The DSML Tools provide for the

About: GeboGebo is a wiki system written for tdbengine. It stores all data
in a local database structure and thus provides an indexed fulltext search.
It uses a simple syntax, and has user lists, pages history, a missing pages
list, and a recent changes list. Image and file upload are possible, but
can be disabled. This allows it to work as a small document management
system. A blacklist allows you to lock existing pages from being edited or
new pages from being created. It can also be run in static mode, where all
pages are additionally held as static HTML pages.
Changes: User management was improved. It's now possible to configure the
wiki in such a way that the administrator has to activate a new user
account before it can be used to login. A password recovery function was

About: Gravit is a gravity simulator. It uses simple Newtonian physics
using the Barnes-Hut N-body algorithm. Although the main goal of Gravit is
to be as accurate as possible, it also creates beautiful looking gravity
patterns. It records the history of each particle so that it can animate
and display a path of its travels. At any stage you can rotate your view
in 3D and zoom in and out. Gravit uses OpenGL with SDL, SDL_ttf, and
SDL_image.
Changes: Several new commands and features were added. The camera will
follow the center of the simulation by default. The screen saver has
changed quite a bit. Timer functionality was added. Fullscreen can be
toggled by hitting alt-enter. A new particle rendering mode that is more
compatible was implemented. Several other features and improvements were
made.

About: Snortalog is a powerful Perl script that summarizes Snort logs,
making it easy to view any network attacks detected by Snort. It can
generate charts in HTML, PDF, and text output. It works with all versions
of Snort, and can analyze logs in three formats: syslog, fast, and full

About: System Configuration Collector (SCC) is yet another configuration
collector. It consists of a client and a server part. The client collects
configuration data in a structured snapshot, compares the new snapshot
with the previous one, and adds differences to a logbook. Then the
snapshot and the logbook are converted to HTML for local inspection.
Optionally, the data can be sent to a system running the server software.
On the server, summaries of the data are generated, and search/compare
operations on the snapshots and logbooks are available via a Web
interface.
Changes: Version info from pkginfo is now recorded in the snapshot. The
VxVM license files are now variable data. Some queries were added to the
