In fact, currently Gentoo has no way to accept money of any kind. The only thing we can take is hardware contributions. We own very little of our infrastructure. Going out and buying hardware to replace hardware that we have for free isn't exactly a good way to spend money. Going out and buying bandwidth to replace bandwidth that we are receiving for free from the same people giving us hardware isn't exactly a good way to spend money.
