Hi! I downloaded a new ebuild for ghostscript that fixes a bug related to copying font files during ghostscript 7.05 install. Doing emerge ghostscript-7.05.4.ebuild from within "/usr/portage/app-text/ghostscript" leads to the following messages Calculating dependencies \portage: aux_get(): (1) couldn't open cache entry for app-text/ghostscript-7.05.4 (likely caused by syntax error or corruption in the app-text/ghostscript-7.05.4 ebuild.) emerge: create(): aux_get() error on app-text/ghostscript-7.05.4; aborting... (I simply grabbed the ebuild from the bugzilla bug page and copied it to the aforementioned location.) Why doesn't this approach work? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help! Kind regards, Holger
