upgrade screwup

Hello all

I just messed up.  I did an emerge sync, emerge -u world.  I was done with half of it when I realized that my compiler flags are not set right (I had to decrease optimization for openoffice and forgot to change it back)

What can I do in this situation?  I installed 5-6 things without optimization and I have no idea what they were.

Is there any way I could go by logs, or most recently installed packages, have emerge (or something) tell me the date of install?
