Hi Becky,

Please provide logs from your system and following are steps to collect the debug logs .

1.Extract dup by running the command  ".\SAS-RAID_Firmware_F96NR_LN_6.3.3-0002_X00.BIN --extract \tmp\dup_extract_dir"
2.Change to the extracted directory by running  “cd  \tmp\dup_extract_dir “.
4.Copy the payload directory up one level,  “cp  payload\*  . “ .
5.Run “sasdupie  -i   -o inv.xml  -debug" for inventory
7.Send us files inv.xml, debug.log, package.xml and Dell customer logs  from
        /var/log/dell/updatepackage/log/ and /var/log/dell/updatepackage/log/support directories.

When I run the firmware update for the PERC 6/i, I am getting this error:

Collecting inventory...
......
Inventory collection failed.
Where can I find information regarding this error?  log files?  Is it possible that the inventory collection system is not setup correctly on the machine?
I am running SAS-RAID_Firmware_F96NR_LN_6.3.3-0002_X00.BIN.

Any suggestions will be helpful!
