I took the chance on RAM, figured 'what do I have to lose?' Worst case scenario the BIOS doesn't see it and map it . . . so first I got a 512MB (since I had two 256), removed one 256, popped in 512, and upon reboot system recognizes 768MB. :) Of course then I went and got another 512 and yup, now have a gig of RAM recognized by system. Nice. Where do I notice improvement? DVD, mp3, etc. Of course battery life is about one hour to one hour and a half, which I think is a total waste! So I have 3 batteries fully charged. Next laptop has to have longer battery life. cheers! farmerdude --- John Andersen <[email protected]> wrote: > On Saturday 31 May 2003 03:17 pm, Tony Godshall > wrote: > > > Quote http://www.pricewatch.com/... > > > > : 512MB DDR 266 PC2100 200pin SDRAM SO DIMM > (SODIMM) NOTEBOOK > > : MEMORY.
