It's practically brand new, bought it in May :\. It's using an Athlon XP 
mobile so that shouldn't be the problem I would hope. I decided to try 
SONY tech support and that was a joke. The little form they are using 
for e-mail support questions is screwed up atm. If I ever get the few 
issues I've been having figured out I'm going to make damn well sure I 
write up a how-to for linux-laptop.net on this model.
