Perhaps there is hope after all....

EmperorLinux emailed me with the model of RAM they use.  It's the
Kingston KTM-0028/1G.  It's a version of Kingstons memory modules for
the Thinkpad line of laptops.  And it's again different from the last
model I used.

I'm looking into ordering this module in the 512MB version (818 bucks
for 1 GB module doesn't ring my bell).

I'll let you know...  I just can't believe Kingston carries so many
different variants of SO-DIMMS 266mhz 512MB modules... :P
