I installed the RH severn beta1 on my GRX700 using a
spare partition. Install was smooth (no difference to
RH9) and yes it has acpi and it works for me, although
I had to manually load acpi modules.
USB works, everything else seems ok too, the kernel
really looks promising. I will write more after I had
more time to play around with it.

ps: To get the iso's try bittorrent. The download took
1.5 hours on the 21st, the first day it was available.
