Well,  I have already done the atime trick.  I have absolutely no 
swap usage.  It should be journal.  So, how much time do you 
recommaned to set for spin down?  1 minute, 10?  I mean on 
battery ofcourse.

Then, why the "current rate" of battery discharging does not 
change (significantly)?  When I do a kernel compile, I see the 
huge difference there.
