Knoppix

Before I get too involved with trying this out -- mostly because I don't
have the time right now to give it a whirl and want to use it for
rebuilding my LFS system when I get my system back.

Has anyone here used Knoppix with there Sony laptop?  Specifically the
GRX series (I have a GRX600K).

Since I'm sending my laptop in and my current LFS system is a horrible
mixture built from RedHat...  I'm wanting to rebuild my LFS system from
scratch and am considering using Knoppix as my build platform.

Any experience here with at least Knoppix on a laptop then? :)
