they'll eventually start to wonder why they're not on any mailing lists
any more. In the meantime, I consider it a nice bit of training for
them. I've always liked the saying that an admin's experience should be
measured in the amount of data lost :-) Losing a few weeks of email will
help them realize that tagging and passing email is safer than bouncing
it.

I'm really impressed at how well SA is handling this -- I haven't made
any changes or enabled Bayesian, but SA is still tagging all the Sobig
mail properly. It's FP'ing a few individuals because of Osirusoft, but
only giving Osirusoft 2.6 points.
