You seem a KDE lover ;). I personally don't like it too much. However, it
has very good applications (amarok, klipper) that I run in gnome.

I can't download the sources, because I'm on 56k dial-up connection, sharing
it with my brother, so we can't download anything heavier than 500kb. If we
do, the connection dies :(

I've just tried downloading just fnfxd, and I've checked out I don't have
toshiba support on my kernel, so I have to recompile it. But in that case I
prefer to wait until a new kernel version is released. I hope that new
version has toshiba support.

About moving to (k)ubuntu, I recommend so. It recognizes most of the
hardware with no problem, and seems to be quite strong :D. I'm happy with
it.
