Re: wondering how on earth to implement Japanese support...

PJE is (I think?) Project Japanese Extensions or something along those
lines.  As far as being computer savvy... Slackware does not do any
autodetection (or at least very minimal).  I wrote my XF86Config file by
hand and manually installed support for all hardware in my three
computers.  I have been (ab :)using computers for 12 years and am
intimately familiar with them, so if you have any technical advice, bring
it on!
