Well yes... lazy... heh... I'm using one of the stock kernels :)  Hey, if
it works OOB, why mess with it?  I'm sure the kernel is not optimal for
my system, but then again I'm not doing government work here (heh).
Anyhow, I think the kernel has Japanese support already - I am able to
browse Japanese websites in Netscape without problems.  It seems to be (at
least mostly) compiled in a modular fashion, except for the USB portion
(which I elected to have compiled in during the install).

As for the fonts, the entry system, and canna/wnn, I think those are a
part of the PJE distribution.  I'll do a locate on them :)

Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to change between
English/Japanese input systems.  I'll find the packages, anyhow, and
install them...  If you have any further input, I'd appreciate it.

BTW, I am a confirmed subscriber to linux-nihongo at this time so everyone
can stop cc'ing me.
