I'm slowly working through my scripts, hoping to get a partially useful
desktop system for TL2025 (binary) pretest although at the moment
the omens do not look good. Anyway, I got to fluxbox and saw:
First, fix a build failure when building with gcc-11.1
I *could* interpret that as 'no longer needed' but it is still in
the book for gcc-14 and worked on my last build, so I propose that
explanations with a package version should say 'or later'. Many
already do, maybe this is just one of those things that has slipped
through.
For gcc, similar text for gcc-14 for libcddb, gtksourceview and gs
(ghostscript). The latter actually says 'with gcc-14 and libidn' so
maybe a libidn version or later should go there. The ghostscript
entry seems to have come in between BLFS-12.1 and BLFS-12.2,
probably for gcc-10.03-series, so gcc-14 or later and libidn-1.42 or
later. (Obviously, gcc-14 is current at the moment so those messages
do not look odd.)
Also, in itstool
First, fix some compatibility problems with Python-3.12
I can fix these if people wish, but maybe I'm overthinking it ?

If it got really cold we lit it.
