[Bug 1009] New: zcat: is the command in or out?

zcat is not in the LSB database nor, apparently, considered an LSB command (see bug 543). The FHS describes zcat, but doesn't say you have to have it. The following programs, or symbolic links to programs, must be in /bin if the corresponding subsystem is installed: ... zcat The GNU uncompression utility (optional) ... If the gunzip and zcat programs exist, they must be symbolic or hard links to gzip. However, lsb-runtime-test in the lsb-fhs section, is looking for zcat and doesn't seem to read it as optional.
