AFAIK, this happens only to Italian translation everytime when the .POT
template is updated (and .PO after that).

Maybe there's some bug in the Makefile or some other mysteries in the
update process?! (See e.g. how line " # translation of menu-contrib.po
to Italian" changes to " # translation of menu-messages-main.po to
Italian").
