Due to this being a Live FileSystem CD it very well might be used on a Windows system.
I see 3 possible ways to handle this
1 jigger the scripts for shutdown so that the hardware clock is not saved
2 ASK what the hardware clock is set to
3 assume that the clock is set to local time and have a check box for clock =UTC

The big rule for the disc should be change as little as possible on the hosting system.
