I am a happy user of a Morphix HD-installed system. I used a default Debian install before, but it failed to cope with my SCSI/IDE mixed system. Morphix however recognised all my hardware correctly. My problem is that I want to have access to my Sony CLIE TJ25 handheld, but this model is only supported on 2.4.24 kernels (and above). So I did an 'apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.24-1-k7' but after the install I could not have access to my SCSI harddrive and not my IDE hardrive (the same problem I had on plain Debian). How do I upgrade to a new kernel with the same features as the Morphix kernel? TIA, Erik. ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
