Appears that the /dev/fd0 device node wasn't copied over for some reason.
Login as the root user, and execute the following:

mknod /dev/fd0 b 2 0

By the looks of it, this bug was overlooked as there aren't many users using
fbdev. Oh well, see if it helps...
