there's nothing in dmesg on the lockup on test11.
if yenta-socket is not loaded, pcmcia script says no sockets found! until i modprobe yenta-socket

You need to also indicate:<br><br>- what brand and model of laptop this is<br>- show all relevant system log messages<br>- show 'lspci -v' output<br><br>If you are having problems with the startup script, at the very least,<br>you should show the actual output and system log messages you get when<br>you run the script.<br><br>-- Dave<br>
