And as I've told you before, it's not.  I have a default pcmcia-cs install on fc1.  I had TRIED a post-install of yenta_socket in modprobe.conf, which did not fix the problem, so I removed it, so please do not try to use that as a scapegoat.  I have a default configuration, period.  This configuration works fine, and automatically, with a 2.4 kernel boot.  I don't know how else to explain that to you.
