pcmcia-cs and cardbus

Hi!

I read that the cardbus cards are no longer supported by the pcmcia package. Is it true? 
I noticed differences between 3.1.28 and 3.2.1. In 3.1.28 it was no problem to configure my Planet cardbus card.
With 3.2.1 I have to use the hotplug package to set up the card, but there are some limits. I am missing the flexibility of the pcmcia-package like schemes and so on.

Can someone give me a statement? David?
