I second the notion of breaking it all down into smaller pieces to be
accepted. Although its disheartening to hear people are still
concerned with the legal 'appearances' of accepting xbox patches into
the mainstream. I guess both sides view the other as naive for their
position in the matter.

If we decide to break the patch into multiple pieces I would reccomend
making sure we give each piece the TLC they deserve for Linus to
accept them.
