There is an excellent book on how xbox1 was cracked, called "Hacking the XBOX" by Andrew "bunnie" Huang. http://hackingthexbox.com/ It's an excellent read, and when you read it, you will see that only due to a chain of freak occurances, and mistakes by micro$oft, it was hacked. (And it took ofcourse an MIT student with an IQ of 200). It would be an awesome linux machine though... although I now understand that the claimed 1 TFlop/s was a hyped up marketing ploy, never achievable in real world scenarios. bram > acceleration.
