I think the open source ATI stuff will only work with very
old ATI hardware: like the mach64 and radeon9200 boards.

So I fear that linux on xbox360 will probably go down like
linux on xbox1 : 2D only :-( (if at all)

Also, if Microsoft will again use DRM with signed binaries,
and if they get it right this time, we may very well have to
prepare for an un-hackable xbox360.

There is an excellent book on how xbox1 was cracked, called
"Hacking the XBOX" by Andrew "bunnie" Huang.
http://hackingthexbox.com/

It's an excellent read, and when you read it, you will see that only
due to a chain of freak occurances, and mistakes by micro$oft, it was
hacked. (And it took ofcourse an MIT student with an IQ of 200).

It would be an awesome linux machine though... although I now understand
that the claimed 1 TFlop/s was a hyped up marketing ploy, never
achievable in real world scenarios.
