DHCP/Network card error (and log file location)?

Hey Guys,
One more question: is there a log file kept by the
DHCP/eth0 device on bootup? I just keep getting a
"DHCP Failed to Intialize/start - now exiting" type
error and I don't know what's causing it on certain
machines (what's weird is the fact that I got it to
work on a test machine, with a REALTEK 8139 card, but
not with those machines with a Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx
or 3COM 3C920 card - occasionally it'll say that it
can't even find these network cards - "no network
card/adapter found", despite being set to "autodetect"
in pxesconfig). Any ideas?

Thanks,
Gil
