Pulse 1.56 not properly ARP'ing IP Address to other subnets kerne l: 2.4.18-17.7.xsmp

It appears that pulse (1.56) does not properly ARP out the MAC address in
FailOver Server configuration on Kernel 2.4.18-17.x

Verified this by initiating a failover by stopping pulse service on primary,
verified the Fail Over Server had assumed the Virtual IP address.
Then looked at ARP tables on router (on same subnet).  ARP Table still
showed IP assigned to Primary servers MAC address (should show Fail over
server MAC address).  Manually clearing the ARP cache will cause the router
to resolve the correct MAC address.

It would appear that the latest version of Piranha (or specifically pulse),
do not properly broadcast out the ARP change.

Anyone else encountered this issue or have a fix?

Red Hat Linux release 7.2
Kernel: 2.4.18-17.7.xsmp
Piranha: piranha-0.7.0-3 (built from SRC RPM)
