Re: USB MODEM

Is there any such thing as an internal pci non-winmodem which is a REAL
modem and which runs with Linux ? These days machines no longer have ISA
slots so the legacy non-winmodems can't installed and many dealers no
longer carry them. It seems that as we move into the future the number
of modems that work under Linux gets smaller and smaller as
manufacturers make more and more of this "Made for Windows" crap. Of
course Windows is the only OS that anyone in their right mind would run,
no ?? Or so these manufacturers would have you think.
