Cannot login manually to PPP ISPs!

It would help to know what version of RHLinux you are using, what modem you 
are connecting with, and the commands you are using and the error messages 
you recieve. (ie: <ifup ppp#> or <wvdial ISP#>.
I'm not all that good with this stuff myself, but this list is (or was) LOADED 
with good help.
