I'm approaching the 6 month mark on EXT3

and I'm assuming that 7.2 will want to fsck the filesystems.

What will happen if a live system is running when that fateful
time arrives? Will it just do the fsck and put all disk i/o on
hold for few minutes automatically and then continue on with
life as if nothing ever happened?

I'd rather not shut down and fsck manually, but If I have to
in a crontrolled setting, I guess I will.

Thanks
George
