For high resolution you need high enough scan rates and enough video memory. If your monitor is not recognized but you know its specifications and that of your video adapter you can use xf86cfg or xf86config. For some video devices it is easy and automatic for others one has to work at it a little harder. -- ------------------------------------------- Aaron Konstam Computer Science Trinity University 715 Stadium Dr. San Antonio, TX 78212-7200 telephone: (210)-999-7484 email:[email protected]
