I've installed "Everything" now (4 Gbytes, about 90 minutes through the 10 
Mbit LAN segment).

I've had a look (quick, yes) at KDE, and I'd already seen GNOME.

I see what the KDE developers are complaining about. Consistent design is one 
thing. I think RH has gone too far in making the two look identical.

If it takes me longer to see the difference between a (maybe customised) KDE 
desktop and a GNOME desktop than it did to sort out Mike's recursive function 
(and it does) then they're too similar.

For that matter, both borked, but we've had that discussion. If I can ever 
find out what packages I need to update "Everything" then perhaps I will see 
whether RH has improved it.
