You're trying to install RH 6.2 (with a 2.2.x kernel) on a Sun Blade
100. Sorry to say, but that simply won't work. Support for the
UltraSPARC-IIe machines wasn't added until sometime into the 2.4.x
kernels, so you'll either need to do something clever with your own boot
image to install RH 6.2, or you'll need to try another (more recent)
distribution.

There's a list of your choices at http://www.ultralinux.org/dists.html,
and it all depends on what your preferences are. If you want to stick
with a Redhat-based distribution, there's Aurora
(http://aurora.linuxpower.org/), a work in progress to port RH 7.x to
SPARC. If you want a RPM-based distribution, there's SuSE 7.3 which
should be solid on your machine. Otherwise, both Debian
(http://www.debian.org/) and an unofficial Slackware port called
"splack" (http://sourceforge.net/projects/splack/) are good choices as
well.
