Sorry to say, but that simply won't work. Support for the UltraSPARC-IIe machines wasn't added until sometime into the 2.4.x kernels, so you'll either need to do something clever with your own boot image to install RH 6.2, or you'll need to try another (more recent) distribution. There's a list of your choices at http://www.ultralinux.org/dists.html, and it all depends on what your preferences are. If you want to stick with a Redhat-based distribution, there's Aurora (http://aurora.linuxpower.org/), a work in progress to port RH 7.x to SPARC. If you want a RPM-based distribution, there's SuSE 7.3 which should be solid on your machine. Otherwise, both Debian (http://www.debian.org/) and an unofficial Slackware port called "splack" (http://sourceforge.net/projects/splack/) are good choices as well.
