Hi Ray,
You can use the --limit-rate option of fou4s (e.g. fou4s --limit-rate 4).
This works for ftp/http and also rsync servers.

I haven't even heard about that, but this might also be nice. If anyone 
else wants this, please tell me. I think that I should begin to clean up 
code and not add new features, except if they are really demanded by 
users.
I would also need an equivalent option for rsync servers, or it would be 
better, at lest.
