Further to my last message regarding compiling and installing a new kernel
in TAO-Linux , I forgot to mention that the grub file shows
the exisiting kernels as having an 'EL' at the end of their
name... (2.4.21-37.0.1.EL)

I tried to install 2.4.32 and that is what I called it, including the .img
statement. No EL used on this kernel and it failed.
Is this needed? Could this be my problem??
