We are able to rebuild custom kernels and firmware, but until someone can 
get Dropbear compiled for the thing, we are SOL. I have questions as to 
wether it would fit in the ROM space.

The Linksys WRT54GS, on the other hand, is 233 Mhz, has 32 megs of memory, 
8 megs of flash a built in 54G access point, 4 port switch and several 
different distributions of firmware that already support it. It lacks a 
modem though, but it is about $80 on the market.
