RE: Reliable firmware

This list is very strange. There can be 50 messages a day and literally the
next day nothing for a month. I don't know. Anyway I have a problem with my
modem. I have a Dlink Wireless router connected from the WAN link to the
computer 1 jack. And after about 20 minutes online outlook express can not
connect to the mail server. IS my SMTP port getting hacked? Why is it
shutting down? Port 80 http works fine
Just wondering

Yeah, the Linksys AP is great, I have one of those for my own use. 
But, my parents are in an area without any broadband options, so the modem
is a big feature on the Actiontec box.

Is my experience with the Actiontec modem locking up typical of others
experience?   That's really the only problem I have with the
Actiontec.  As long as it would operate reliably, it does everything I need
out of that type of device.. I have another Linux server behind it to do
more complex tasks.
