Should I replace it ASAP or? This attribute with such a high figure would mean I'd treat the drive as "imminently failing". I would not even bother to try repairs, or to consider the drive a viable spare. I notice in your later emails in this thread, the attribute has incremented again, which gives weight to this advice. -- Adam Piggott, Proprietor, Proactive Services (Computing) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ Smartmontools-support mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/smartmontools-support
