Interestingly, Backblaze does NOT use Multi_Zone_Error_Rate to gauge
whether or not a drive is failing
(https://www.backblaze.com/blog-smart-stats-2014-8.html#S200R). Now I'm
not saying they are perfect, but they deal with far more hard drives than
most of us. Absent of good evidence to the contrary, I'm willing to give
them the benefit of the doubt.
Further, assuming the attrib value started at 200 (common based on looking
at a lot of drives.), according to the drive's firmware, these errors seem
to be of no concern per the drive's manufacturer, since it is still at
200. Sometimes a raw value doesn't mean what you think. For instance,
Seagate's Raw Read Error Rate isn't the number of errors. You have convert
that number into hex (if it is in decimal) and pad the front with 0's if
necessary to get 12 hex digits total. The first *4* digits are the actual
errors. The last 8 are total reads.
