An Update: This is a known issue and Allegro now 
(at least as of today: 1 March 2007) provides a 
patch that changes the package that the allegro 
version of yacc lives in.  Doing (sys::update-allegro)
followed by running the update shell script brings 
everything up to date.  I am now able to use cl-yacc 
trouble-free.
