My configuration is > set to "focus follows mouse" so moving the cursor changes which window > has focus. I have been getting behavior like this and I believe it is due to Firefox. When I pass the mouse cursor from window 1 to firefox to window 2 and window 2 is still over the firefox window, the focus goes frome window 1 to firefox to window 2 and then goes back to firefox! So I think firefox is doing something funny with window focus. This started at firefox 1.5 on Linux. I generally have to move the mouse back out and in, or click on the intended window. Ken Poulton
