Sparky, > To day I got this ranting email, kind of funny actually, > about this person's inability to unsubscribe from a list. That's kind of vague. What specific part of the process was your user ranting about? > So I guess my question is, is there any issue with the > unsubscribe process or is this guy lying to me to get > some attention? I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that your user is having trouble completing the conf step in the unsub process. If I'm right about that, then the issue could be that your user has a lame MUA like Outlook Express or something. Fill us in with a few more details and we might be able to help you. 1) At what point in the process is your user failing? 2) Which MUA (name and version) does your user have? 3) What O/S (name and version) are they on? :: Stepping up on my soap box :: > kind of funny actually I tend to look at it a little differently. If a user of mine is flailing and frustrated, that becomes my problem even if the user is "incompetent". I am often struck by the relative lack of computer/software sophistication in my user community. I consider it my job to make my system usable and understandable. Each "failure" my users experience is an opportunity for me to learn something and try to improve my system. :: Stepping down from my soap box" :: -- David I. Bell
